    Guys,

So maybe we've had a record two day drop of several %, but the market just opened 20 points stronger to 4420. That's a .45% increase in the first half hour. Then slumped back to below opening at 4400...

    Gotta love this volatility!

Only wish my application had cleared. Should be in today though... :D

    Cheers,
    Michael.

    Tropo,

Any tips on how she'll close, up or down again?

I'm just finalising my LE financing and will be in "some time" today. Maybe a well-timed entry will make all the difference. As Steve put it: "Dollar cost trading the dollar cost trading fund" :)

    Cheers,
    Michael.

It may close red Tropo, however the yanks rallied well into their close. Our market may anticipate the worst is over for them. Gold was also strong which should suit quite a few of our many miners.

From that good open this morning we pulled right back and have now taken out the morning intraday high. Id be surprised to see us red from here, but you never know, that market can be a strange beast.

    Gameboy,

Three days in a row in the red!

Pretty much level for the day though really. Spent the last hour in the red then rallied to finish just down. I wonder if the All Ords finishing under 4400 will have a psychological effect on the herd?

Monday might be a nice day for me to buy in to the Retail fund, then again there might be a lot more red left in this little fall... Doesn't matter, Monday is the day for me anyway I reckon! :D

    Cheers,
    Michael.

Oh well it was red, oops lol

The candle on the XJO is often one seen at short term bottoms and we closed just above a support level 4440 ish.

The XSO was +16 with the advancers almost double the decliners for the day. Nice to see some underlying strength, even if the main indexes don’t show it. So yes Michael id say Monday is a good chance, provide the yanks don’t do anything silly tonight

Ripper of a day for me with BTA and goldies the star performers in my portfolio :D
