    It's a personal choice made by a caring man to allow his wife to live longer. It's those protective instincts kicking in. Quite obviously, if these men were to do more housework, their wives would live less long - wouldn't want that on our conscience would we? :p

    Though I did read another study that came to the conclusion that husbands who did more housework got more, let's say, "sensual attention" from their wives :)
