    Interesting stats recently released by APM on Sydney shows the following:

    TOP 5 MOST EXPENSIVE LGA'S
    Mosman
    Woollahra
    Hunters Hill
    Manly
    Waverley

    TOP 5 MOST AFFORDABLE LGA'S
    Campbelltown
    Penrith
    Wollondilly
    Blacktown
    Blue Mountains

    TOP 5 HIGHEST TURNOVER LGA'S
    Blacktown
    Sutherland
    Baulkham Hills
    Penrith
    Hornsby
    Sales in these five areas actually accounted for 25.26% of total house sales in Sydney throughout 2005

    It was also interesting to read that, contrary to popular opinion that houses generally rise in value more than units, the Sydney median house price fell 4.87% (to $525 000) over 2005, whilst units only fell 2.37% in comparison (to $354 000)
