Multiple Trading Name

    One of my friends applied a ABN on 20 May. And when he got the ABN number he found out that it had been used and beared different trading names b4. Can anyone tell me why? It may sound stupid but we are really newbies.:D

    Sounds like a mistake - there should be enough numbers to go around, surely!!!!
