    NAB, ANZ face shareholder revolts

ANZ shareholders are being urged by the Australian Shareholders Association to vote against the reappointment of chairman Charles Goode who is standing for re-election pending a handover to Sir Rod Eddington in 2009.
ANZ shareholders are also expected to register a strong protest against the additional share options being awarded to new chief executive officer Mike Smith.
NAB executives and directors also face the prospect of strong shareholder votes against their salary packages at the AGM today.
NAB's risk management boss Paul Rizzo faces a strong campaign against him over perceived failings in the bank's risk management.
