Managed Funds navra tax statement

Does Navra issue a tax statement, that I would need to wait for before putting in my tax return? What date do they usually issue it?

 

Yes they do. I would say end August. Don't anticipate doing my tax until mid Sept. because of this factor.

Last year I innocently went to accountant mid August and he told me I was missing this statement. It was messy, so I'm learning patience A phone call to Navra would tell you though.

 

Just trying to clarify here.

Looking at last years tax statement, it had a figure of xxx being "cash distribution for the year". Yet the actual figure(s) that went into my account was a bit lower.

Does this sound right?

Can I assume that the difference was management fees perhaps?

 

I received my statement last week. All paperwork has been rushed to accountant for a refund ! (Fingers crossed !
