New car loan and wife on maternity leave

    Have applied for a car loan and awaiting a response. They are checking to see if they can go ahead with the loan without putting my wife who is on maternity leave as a dependent.

    If they put her down then it's a decline even though we spent a year saving so she can be independent while on leave. If they don't then the loan will be approved.

    Just want to know if I have a chance for this loan to go through. I find it sad that I can be declined for a loan which I can easily afford the repayments.
