I've added two new new forum topic areas:

Trading is a sub-topic of Shares and is for discussion of various trading techniques and instruments (including shares, options, currency, etc).

Listed Managed Investments is a new area for discussion about investing in listed managed investments: Listed Property Trusts (LPTs or REITs); Listed Investment Companies (LICs); Infrastructure Funds; Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs); Pooled Development Funds; Absolute Return Funds.

Okay, based on some suggestions from our members, I've modified the new forums slightly.

The Listed Managed Investments forum is now a sub-forum of a newly renamed "Active Managed Funds and LMIs" forum - aimed at discussions about actively managed funds and listed investments.

A new forum topic has been created specifcially for discussion of passively managed investments (ie index funds and index-tracking exchange traded funds) - Passive Index Funds and ETFs

So we now have two separate areas for discussion investments that follow the two strategies of managed investments - active versus passive management.

Please remember to respect other people's opinions and don't let religious beliefs about investment strategies become holy wars :D
