    Hi,

We are a happy couple in our mid 30's looking to start our investment journey. Hoping this forum will assist us in doing our due diligence prior to jumping in the deep end.

Quick overview of our financial position. All advice/opinions welcome....

    Our Residence: Value $700K - $720K with $140K mortgage.
    Cash on hand: $300K
    Income: $100,000p.a (combined)

Thinking property would suit us. Combination of buy/sell and buy/hold with an overall 10 - 15 year plan.

Looking forward to hearing your advice.

    J & C

Don't be offended but don't expect personal advice on this forum as there are laws against such things.

That said, you and your partner should have children. Your income will halve, your spare cash will evaporate, and investment will be the last thing on your mind. A neat and tidy solution to your current dilemma. ;)
