    From the article "Food, house, rent and construction costs will all push up the CPI result, and given that the Reserve uses interest rates to keep inflation between 2 and 3 per cent, the headline CPI rise in the quarter will be alarming, perhaps 1.3 per cent.

    But the biggest rises, probably including food items affected by the drought, will be excluded in the trimmed mean measure, and the Reserve will probably still be weighing the fallout from the credit squeeze. The decision could go either way. "
