I've noticed that at least 6 of the people I work with (well on my floor at least) are frequent workplace teeth cleaners...they brush after having some morning tea, after eating their lunch and then in the afternoon.

Now i understand oral hygene is important but that's just crazy!

Is it just my weird co-workers or do others work with FWTCs/OOTCs?

(and before anyone jumps in... yes I suppose it could be necessary after all that bottom feeding... :D )

    Nigel,

    Maybe it's this....

Floss daily, brush after meals and have your teeth cleaned every six months to take six years off your real age. For more help, check the American Dental Association’s Web site: http://www.ada.org/public/topics/cleaning.asp

    Nah, they're just anal!!!
I brush mine twice a day (2 mins minimum) and have had no problems :)
And I haven't had a dental checkup in over two years!
Flossing regularly is probably the 2nd best defence after twice daily brushing as not too many people do this often enough.
Electric toothbrushes also are preferable over the standard brush, and brushes should be changed over at least once every 2 mths. Shaggy dogs do little to help those pearly whites :)
Look after those teeth peoples- neglect can prove to be a very expensive exercise indeed!

PS: Chewing sugar free gum in between meals also helps the saliva move around the mouth more effectively, staving off possible plaque attacks.

    Sadly, it's not :(
I've obviously just been married to a dentist for far too long!
