    Michael,
    Nothing wrong with your maths.
It is 7.12 % for this financial year to date.

    Retail Fund Wholesale Fund
    Net fund return** 7.12% 7.19%
    Net distributed income^ 5.40% 5.46%

Does that mean 1.72% potential return for the current distribution period?

I have invested just after the last distribution and was lucky enough to buy units at $1.1269 :( on October 4... The current units price is $1.0934.

So, what does that mean for me? On one hand 1.72% potential return, on the other hand my investment decreased in value meanwhile.

    Thank you.

Yeah sorry, perhaps a freudian slip of the fingers... 7%+ is Year to Date figure. But there's been a 5% distribution on 30 September.

    Cheers

You're reading too much into those figures - there are unrealised capital losses/gains in the fund return figures that won't be reflected in the final distribution amount. There's no accurate way of determining how much the upcoming distribution might be from the data that NavraInvest provide on their website - the only way to find out is to ask them directly - and even then I'm not sure what their policy is on information like that - it's very rubbery and they really wouldn't want to set expectations of a distribution amount that might not come to fruition.
