I just watched the following Youtube series and it really paints quite a humble and sobering picture of the state of the US economy and how "greed is not always good", "market aren't always right", "regulations aren't always evil", "banking and finance should be more of a public utility than an profit based industry" and that "health and welfare should always have a place in society":

I know on these forums it's rare to find me advocating for more health and welfare, but I'd like to think for the most part I have always been a supporter of better oversight and regulation, and I just think that in this 20 mins presentation Paul Krugman really humbles the model of capitalism we have formed over the last 20 years.

So I just thought I'd share - what do you guys think?
