This thread is solely to get rid of this pesky message

<QUOTE>Hello gad it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?</QUOTE>

If I had something to say, I'd say it :(

It shouldn't show up all the time - it's set to remind you once and then disappear for a while.

Even though my partner and I are recently married, we still keep our finances fairly separate. Money from the sale of her motorbike (only a few thousand) went into the navra wholesale fund, via etrade. I'm still reducing my personal debt before saving into managed funds.

Sorry Sim, it was a bit "tongue in cheek" :D

Though, the message (from memory), after the initial showing, does continue at every log in until I post. I may be wrong & will take more notice next time.

Hi Jacque. Will hopefully be buying a new IP in the Brisbane / GCoast growth corridor very soon. Just waiting for a top up loan to go through.

    Take care.

Good luck with it all, Gad- so why Qld? I notice the latest edition of Smart Investor mag has a big feature article on hotspots in Qld. Pity I sold off too early in good old Rockhampton- but who was to guess how much cg it would continue to have?

I believe that area will contuinue to grow while most other parts like ACT, Vic, Nsw ect will remain relatively flat for a number of years to come.
I do admit that the water situation up there is a little worrying.

SE Qld gets about 1,500 new residents a week. Those people need to live somewhere. I reckon that's part of the reason why there still seems to be movement while the rest of the country is slowing down.

The water situation worries me as well, though. Idiot govt. is just way too lax on restrictions. The one thing I noticed when I moved up here was how much stricter restrictions are in Vic.

    Mark,
I have been to Brisbane few weeks ago (I bought next IP over there) and I noticed that Brisbane is very green...
So, how serious the water situation is??
PS - Do not expect too much from current government now and in the future.

    Hi Tropo,

Wivenhoe Dam is under 20% at the moment, with most others hovering between 20 & 30%.
