just noticed some weirdness comparing my Asteron Super and E*trade in relation to unit prices for Platinum Asia fund. e*trade has the redemption price on the 2nd August as 2.72 Asteron had 1.86 on Asteron its called "Platinum Asia Fund" on e*trade its called "Platinum Asia Fund (PLA0004AU)" why is there a difference in unit prices?
I have noticed a similar thing with every fund held in my super fund wrap account. I would imagine there is a wholesale investment available through these wrap accounts or some such thing...
So its still basically the same fund? Its up 10% or so over 2 and a half months, I'm thinking of putting at least 1k into it a month via etrade next year. The balance of my spare monthly budget will be either navra or cfs australian geared, or might alternate the two. Here are platinum asia's unit prices from Asteron up to yesterday since I started tracking them. 1.7011 1.7011 1.7011 1.7322 1.749 1.7478 1.768 1.7832 1.7832 1.7832 1.7811 1.7812 1.7844 1.7685 1.7823 1.7919 1.7897 1.7867 1.7816 1.7741 1.7544 1.7687 1.7602 1.7844 1.7848 1.8027 1.8018 1.8089 1.8065 1.8 1.7991 1.8005 1.8042 1.7978 1.7922 1.7922 1.7934 1.7934 1.8173 1.8313 1.8532 1.848 1.8452 1.8483 1.8596 1.8596 1.8428 1.8213 1.8235 1.8388 1.852 1.8597 1.847 1.8681 1.8648 1.8677 1.8937

do you reckon its the same fund then? is the reason that the figures on platinum's site dont reflect the 10% rise that Asterons figures show, because of the distributions not being added back in on the platinum site?
