    Hi There,

This is unknown territorty to me. ie. Assets in a marriage.

First, does a couple become one legal entity?. Do I take on my partners' debts.

Secondly. Do Pre-Nups work? How legal are they? Where do you get them? How much do they cost?

Any links for more information would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Johny. :)

Come on! Someone must have married. If you have assets, how do you protect yourself in a breakup?

You make sure you're the one doing the breakup and sell everything off under your partners nose and clear out the bank accounts before the solicitors come in.
