A pensioner widow moves in with his daughter for temporary care. He tries unsuccessfully to sell his house, then decides to rent it out for one year, producing a net rental income of $70 per week. For Centrelink (pension) purposes, is his house still considered his principle of residence? If it is considered to be an asset other than his principle place of residence, he will lose his pension.
