    Tomorrow is the big day!!

Any speculation on what opening share price we might see?

Slater and Gordon listed at a 30% premium yesterday, so we may see this type of return here also :)

The float price is at a discount to peers when this business really should be at a premium to most peers. I'd say it could go as high as 7.50

JP morgon today predicted that the shares will start trading at $6.85 2morrow, this is about a 38% premium....

hope its not the case but very well could be

Looks like $15 bid and $5 sell, gates should open over $7-8..

I'm lucky to have 2400 shares, so should see a $5000 profit once the horses bolt.

    :D

8.80 is the high atm, i got in at 8.64 but now are trading at 8.54 or so....

a nice 70% return... even a small allocation people will be happy about that...

looks like everyone is profit taking now.... the price is just sliding down...

    Here's an 'over' for you.:(:)

Does the $1320 at least cover theinterest on the IPO remittance?

    Cheers

if we all got what we wanted, then the share price would probably be about $6 now.... its only so high due to the limited number of shares out there...

Just wondering what people's thoughts are in regards to the current Platinum share price ($8.38). As an investor in one of their funds I applied for shares in the IPO - my thoughts at the time were that I'd be looking to hold them for the long term, but at current valuations should I sell? It would seem that at $8.38 Platinum's revenues and profits would have to grow significantly over the next few years to reach a fair valuation in P/E terms (whatever that may be :).

I'm not an experienced investor, so just wondering what the more experienced amongst you would do... take profits now or hold for the long term? The profit (after CGT) would be nice to have, but not life changing by any means... so maybe hold and hope for Platinum to become a global giant in the future :) ??

it hit 9.12 yesterday at one point... i think there is still some volitily in the price....

remember as the share price goes up so does the market cap, this means that fund managers have to buy it if there tracking the ASX ***, therefore created demand...

i do 2 think price is a little high but i belive there is still more to come...

What makes you think, that other people have any clue what may happen with PTM next week or in the future ?
In the world of money which is a world shaped by human behavior, nobody has the foggiest notion of what will happen in the future.
    You may consider this:
Stop yourself out if the market (PTM) moves against you 20% from your peak profit point or/and if a market (PTM) doesn't do what you think it should do - get out.

the market trend for ptm is starting to get me worried, it just keeps diving each day a low of 7.06 today, while there is some good day trading profits to be had, its not going to be the long term investment that i thought it could be....

    what are peoples thoughts???

    Question:

What you'll do if you get few different opinions from other people ?

PS - Don't you think that current/future PTM share price should not be of any concern to you IF you consider yourself as a "value" investor ?
