    Hi, all,
I guess I already know the answer to this question, but have to ask, anyway. Given the details as shown on the NI website, is it possible to glean an approximate %/c.p.u. rate of distribution for this coming quarter? Yes, I guess we'll all know in a couple of weeks. :D
The latest info available on their website shows, as at 28 Dec 2006, a Y.T.D. return of 7.67%. Given that the return for the first quarter was 2% ( I think ), does that mean that distributions for this quarter ( Q2 ), will be 7.67 - 2 = 5.67?
I realize it's probably not that simple, and would appreciate someone steering me in the right direction.
Would even appreciate anyone having a guess at the distribution at this stage. :)
    Thanks
    Jayar

There would be some unrealised capital gains in that return figure - so not all of it will be distributed. They will also likely hold some back to cover the next quarter or so in case returns aren't as good.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say 3.0 - 3.5% distribution

    Hi, Sim,
Thanks for your response, and if the return is 3-3.5%, I'll be content with that. Raises an interesting point, though, and perhaps you can help me again.
You said that NI might hold back an amount of distributions, just in case the next quarter doesn't perform as well as this one. I agree with this, and I know NI will do this.
However, for the 4th quarter 05/06, the distributed return to us was 5.11%.....and very nice, thank you very much :D .
The following quarter realized a distribution of 2%......not real flash.
Why did NI not adopt the same policy here...or did they?
Understand that I should perhaps direct this question DIRECT to NI, but value your opinion, and that of all other posters.
    Thanks again
    Jayar

    Hi Jayar.

The first three Quarters they have the discretion to hold some back.

The end of the FY all has to be distributed though.

No problems. There's a lot of it going around.........ahhh.......Jayar was it?? ;)

Actually, maybe we should stop complaining about the lack of input from NavraInvest on the Site lately. There seems to be plenty of people stepping up to the plate to help provide information on a voluntary basis and the bits in between we can make up! :D :D Hmmm........no commission though. :( :D

    Hi, Alan,
Sim's given us his 'wild guess' of the next distribution....3-3.5%
    Your turn, mate. :D :D
And anyone else want to have a go?
For mine, it'll be between 3.5-4%..............(but I'll settle for anything over 3%)
    Cheers

    Hmmmm.........let me see.

Given the current figures......and taking into account expected Company Performances........commodity prices and overall international affairs.......factoring in retail sales and latest employment figures......not to forget anticipated overall market sentiment and expected porkbelly future prices.........I would have to say......ahhhhh.......

    ........3.7521345346% (or thereabouts)

But then I forgot to add the other vital factor........

    * Licks finger and holds it in the air to see which way the wind is blowing....

    Oh bugger........I don't know......

Who am I to argue with the great Sim?

    Let's say 3.5%..................but I'll take 10! :D

I'm tipping a 3.0% distribution, with 0.5% carried over to the next period.

The remainder is, in my humble guessy opinion, unrealised capital gains.

Rang NI offices today and they are estimating 3.3% at this stage. All details to be finalised soon.

I am happy with that :)

    Cheers !

Well there you go, you certainly can't complain about the promptness of that information appearing on the web site.

    Well done NavraInvest! :D

Now, about this performance fee business ........

Anyone know when the distribution will be paid out ? Usually it's between the 10th & 14th of the month it's due.
