    Hello All,

I just bought 100 shares of STW, my first share purchase! How do i reinvest the distributions? Will i get a letter in the mail asking me this? I bought via comsec.

    Bit of background -
    Age 22
    Work - IT
    Salary - 60k PA
    Cash - 40k
Managed Funds - Mac Small Companies Growth Trust 2k
Property - Currently Looking in Victoria for an IP but haven't found anything i like yet..

Currently plan is to keep buying STW and then SLF monthly and continue to contribute to the managed funds until they are all valued around 10k, and then move onto another investment..

IP will be rented out and i am looking at properties around 250-350k mark in my local area.. (Berwick, Victoria).

    Thoughts, comments?

    Cheers.

Yeah you'll get letter within a fortnight.

I'm doing the same thing -> STW + SLF. Are you gearing as well?

I'm thinking about doing so right before the end of the year and prepaying the interest - to taxable income down.

    Thanks.

A question for SIM ... when I do a search on STW following msg appears.

    1. Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : STW

    Sorry HTL
    Try searching 'Streettracks' instead.
Or go to the source directly: SPDRs
