Trading Recording trading data

    Is there a way to record or download trading data to playback off a live source (i.e bourse etc).

    I'd like to try and paper trade. Ideally if I could say record a day or a weeks price movements and play them back I could test the methods I want to use.
    Kinda like skipping through a music CD track by track.
    I don't have access to the live data during the day so I'm looking for an alternative.
