Rental yield history figures

    Does anyone know of any sites that give average historical rental yield figures for suburbs?

    InvestSmart gives a current rental yield figure, but I was looking for rental yields over the past 5 years.

    Obviously looking for the information for free if it is available :)

    Hi JR

    Not free but cheapest source is at Residex- buy one of their quarterly reports for $90 for the state you're interested in and it gives you last 10yrs average, as well as current yield for the past 12mths. Wait a few days and you'll be able to purchase end of June quarter for most up to date stats.
