Hi, everyone, I'm new to invested. Got a few questions to ask you guys, I just finished my bachelor degree of business major in Finance, do I need RG146 compliance course for my future carrer as a financial planner, as I saw it's a basic requirement for many finance jobs. And also, if I want to attemt the Kaplan Diploma of Financial Service course, does it overlap with my uni work? or I can apply for exemption for that.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi MTOT,

If your subject is listed on ASIC http://www.asic.gov.au/eTraining/eTrain.nsf ASIC will say what the RG146 competency is for (eg, super, insurance, investments, derivatives, etc).

Let us know how you go.

    Cheers,

    Dan
