    Certainly food for thought.

As much as my spreadsheets enjoy extrapolating 20% returns forever, it doesn't work that way!

And even they are useless as an investment as their price is kept artificially high by the De Beers cartel.

According to James Bond - "diamonds are forever".:D :p ;)
The main investment advantage of diamonds is a store "value", because of their extreme portability and easy concealability.
Many Jews discovered during the II world war, diamonds are a fine disaster insurance of last resort (gold/silver as well).
