    Dropping taxes on property! Halleyuah!

This is the second step to helping unwind the property bubble and for government to truly do something that make property more affordable and the property market more competitive.

    *stands an applauds*

Now all we have to do is convince the 70% of population that are property owners (and voters) that they need to cop some reasonably big capital losses for the sake of system efficiency and the economy.

*sits back in his chair and wonders when democracy will get out of its own way*

Chris - I can't really tell whether you are being serious or sarcastic in your response ?

I do think the article was mostly referring to commercial property rather than residential.

I was being a bit of both.

    :p

Though my opinion still stands that government should get their taxation fingers out of housing if they really want to create affordable housing.
