    Short selling OK by ASX

The Australian Securities Exchange allows "naked selling" on 320 stocks, including most major companies.
The ASX revises the list each month.
Naked selling refers to the practice of selling shares without having first borrowed the stock.
Short selling of this form won't now be allowed in US securities markets as an interim measure.
