Signals suggest commodity bull run is fading

Has the big run on commodities come to an end?
Big falls in oil, silver and gold over the past few days come after all three failed to regain their highs after the initial sell off of a few weeks ago.

    Tropo,
Gold is the favourite safe-haven in times of uncertainty.
The reason gold has eased is that there is light appearing at the end of the credit crisis tunnel.

So which is it going to be:
    - A plunging stockmarket, or
    - Plunging commodities and a precious metals crisis?

Can we have both? I don't think so.

Why don't you short the whole lot?
If only you could short fresh air. That would be one bet I'd be on.

You may be correct that gold is the favourite ‘safe-haven’ (as long as $US is falling down IMHO).
In case of plunging stock market / commodities or precious metals, talk directly to the author of this article = Simon Denham.
As long as I can make some money I have got no problem to short anything which is moving in the right direction including fresh and polluted air. :p
