    Hi All

I recently came across an interesting report called "Intimate with Self Managed Superannuation", a study into the growing SMSF sector commissioned by Russell and SPAA and conducted by independent research group CoreData.

It surveyed SMSF trustees, non-trustees and professional SMSF advisers during November and December 2011. In total 1,406 Australian consumers were surveyed, of whom 337 were SMSF trustees and 174 high net worth individuals without SMSF's.

The report can be downloaded from here: Financial Professionals | Publications And Tools | Market Insights | Smsf Study | Russell Investments

The report found that SMSF's were shaking off their DIY label and were seeking a partnership approach.

So my question is, for those that have or are thinking about setting up a SMSF, how do you make your investment decisions:

    • Yourself?
    • Research from newspapers, magazines and/or websites?
    • Research from a subscription service?
    • Financial Adviser?
    • Stockbroker?

    Kind Regards
