Sub divide and sell the back yard

    Hi All,

    I have a property 1200sqm and got the back unit. that unit got separate electricity, water , gas and sewer and I think access to drain storm water too. So can I sub divide this to two lots easily?

    I’m not going to build anything in back just two lot sub division and sell the back ?

    If possible let me know the process.

    Where is the property located? Do you know what the zoning for the area is?

    Is it a granny flat?

    Generally granny flats are not able to be subdivided, but depending on the location and the nature of the property, there may be possibilities.

    Hi Simon,

    This property located at Local Government (Council): GREATER BENDIGO and with GENERAL RESIDENTIAL ZONE (GRZ)

    this is a single bed unit and I'm paying council rates for both properties.
