    Hello folks..

My super is currently with QSuper, and am planning to move the money to another super provider which has a wider investment choice of managed funds and hopefully ETFs (not so much interested in shares at the moment).

I have shortlisted a few providers. Can you guys please suggest if there are any others or which is the best of the following

    1) HUB24 Super : 700+ funds, ETFs and shares

    2) BT Wrap Super : 500+ funds, ETFs (but available only through advisor)

    3) Colonial First State Super, Perpetual Wholesale Super, OnePath Super : All about 100 funds, no ETFs. All these providers also have super wraps with about 400 funds but available only through advisors.

I am not so keen to take on a financial advisor. Is there any way to get the wrap accounts without the advisors ?

    Cheers..

    Superannnuation Choices

    Hi Calvin,

    If you looking at taking more control of your superannuation, without the hassel of setting up SMSF this maybe an option;

Client Directed Portfolio Superannuation Investment - Price Finance

You are able to purchase ETF and shares within your superannuation, and the reporting in done automatically. This Client Directed Service is used through BT Wrap Platform.

I have been doing this style of investing for 6 years and are quiet happy with service BT provider.

What is the charge of PriceFinancial though ? I know i can access BT Wrap through an advisor but i don't intend to hire one at the moment at least.

    Manged Super

    Hi Calvin,

The fees with regarding the 'Client Directed' option are around the 1.4% in total. This would includes the platform fees and other fees.

    e.g. investment 100k fees will around $1,400

Compared this to other providers with the same option, this would be competivie on price, but also investment choice.

The benefits of using the 'client directed' is that reporting and compilance is done automatically. Dividends will tracked automatically and paid into the wrap account, which allows yourself to concentrate on investing.

I can be contacted on the following number to discuss further. 02 9875 2444

    Kind Regards

    i suggest seek advice

    Hi Calvin,

It really depends on how you are going to structure your portfolio up inside the platform and what the short and long term goals are.
Platforms all have their little quirks where they are superior to other providers for example Macquarie manager is fantastic if only using 1 investment option probably a diversified or Multi manager fund.

Some of my preferred platforms in order are
    - Netwealth, very similar to Hub24 but fractionally lower in admin. International equities access and low broker fees for ASX listed transactions
    - Macquarie manager, excellent for single fund approach due to admin structure
    - North (excellent for a core satellite approach due to the discounted admin on diversified funds)
    - CFS First wrap.

Remember do not get caught up on cost but seek overall performance (I would pay 2% for a 15% return any day over 0.5% for a 8% return)

I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to this

    Best Regards
    Brett
