    The Future Fund was established by the Future Fund Act 2006 to assist future Australian governments meet the cost of public sector superannuation liabilities by delivering investment returns on contributions to the Fund (from Future Fund, Home).

    In the news today they have revealed which fund managers have been selected to manage each asset sector for the Future Fund.

    Aus Equities = Vanguard
    Property = Vanguard
    Global Equities = State Street Global Advisers (SSGA)

    Passive investing - maybe it is the most responsible and sensible way to invest your money...:)

    i guess if its good enough for the australian gov, indexing can't be that bad an idea :)

    i must say that i like the SANF the most - no more worrying about my stock picking or timing.....

    i received 3 'hot' tips just last week at my workplace.. ppl pushing stocks that they had already bought :cool: i didn't even bat an eyelid - no rushing to check stock history, no fear of missing out.. :D
