Hi there, for those of you out there who are actively trading, can you please share whether you have been formally educated (includes taking online courses, basically any knowledge you paid for aside from lessons learned from trading itself) or self taught.

Please also specify how successful you think you have been with your approach (obviously different people have different definitions of success).

Not a serious poll, just a fun thing.

I voted as "self-taught" although I was observing my father since I was an anklebiter and following his instruction in my early years and then suggest my own trades when I begun to think for myself in my teens. (Most of which we both regret we didn't follow).

I was dragged along to a Get-rich-quick-with-our-stockmarket-guide seminar which I flatly refused to sign. How did he wow the audience? With MACD graphs. MACD GRAPHS!!!!!
