I loved everything about this place. Could move in with just my toothbrush.

I can almost "feel the serenity" :D

How much could it rent for as a holiday home?

    I am in the syndicate.

What do you reckon, 12 of us put in $100K each. take a week each over the summer and let it to rich Sydney people for weekends the rest of the year? Weekdays for the syndicate on a share basis.

Jacque can duck over and clean it as she lives nearby...

OK the last one might be stretching the friendship a bit.

    Jacque,

You're dropping a line in my fishpond now... ;) Yes, Bilgola is lovely, and this sort of place is probably the next trade up on our PPOR that Kay and I will go for. We'd only have to pitch in another $400K odd to get to that level. Ideally we'd like one of the places for a touch over $2M that has the absolute water frontage on Pittwater so we can moor our little yacht out back and stroll on for a sail when we feel like it, but I'll take ocean views as an interim step! :D

I'll pitch in $800K if you guys find the $400K. I'll let you come and stay whenever you like! :D

Personally I prefer the whale beach south headland, a bedroom with a view of the wedge and the joey, let me check the surf for the early without even getting out of bed, instead of a 45 min dive only to realise its lousy.

Hmmmm, better get cracking on that trading strategy.

Haha! Now please enlighten me as to what a joey is? I can figure out the wedge :)

The joey is the name of the surf spot at the far nth end of Palm Beach ie Barrenjoey.

The wedge is the nth end of Whale Beach.
