When It Makes Sense To Talk To A Financial Adviser

    In summary:
    • When you’re going through a major, expensive life change.
    • You’re thinking about retirement, or have no plans for your legacy.
    • You receive a windfall.
    • You need to care for ageing or retired family.

Interesting page, thanks Simon. I have been to a few FPs hiwever they seem to push me into a narrow path and after some great reading on forums and WWW, I'm developing a path for myself. I'm not sure if yhis path is correct but might seek FP on a fee for service to work some models.

The article doesn't mention - when you need advice on a financial product such as super or insurance.
